We are particularly excited to try using QR codes in our learning and the Voice Memos app. QR codes could serve many purposes in our classroom from linking to differentiated learning centers to linking to surveys. The possibilities are endless with how to use this tool. With the voice memos app, the children will be able to work on their fluency by recording their reading and listening to themselves and their peers.
The training made us feel overwhelmed, nervous, anxious ... but most importantly, EXCITED! We left training wanting more! As with any new endeavor, we have mixed emotions. But we know once we get the carts and dive in, the fear will subside! :)
As we wait for the cart to arrive, we are preparing informational letters for our parents along with a contract to be signed by each student and parent. We are talking with our children about being responsible with ipods and the exciting activities that are ahead!
We are hoping our fellow ipod friends will have fabulous management strategies that we can use!! We are planning on assigning each student an ipod and writing that number on their desk nameplate. We are also wanting them to learn how to use the camera to take a picture of themselves to post as their wallpaper.
We are super excited!!! Can't wait to get started!
